new wrinkle

The new wrinkle in the cancer situation gets me thinking, I just have to be careful how far out I allow myself to think.

  1. Hmmmmmm….your post has me thinking. Thinking “too far out” is a bit of a double-edged sword. There is something wonderful about living in the here and now–appreciating the gift of today. And I, personally, wonder about missed opportunities b/c of thinking (critically) too far out. However, isn’t thinking far out the essence of hope? And shouldn’t we all have hope that all of our tomorrows will be better than today? Sorry…this has been on my head since you posted this. I’m having trouble wrapping my mind around it, and thought perhaps commenting might help. 🙂

Either way, I pray you don’t lose hope! Jeff and you have survived so much, and I have faith that you will continue to do so.

    • Clarification…by my “faith that you will continue to do so,” I meant keep on surviving…not facing more struggles. 😉
